There’s money to be made out in space, although you’ll need to get your hands dirty – or perhaps your asteroid-mining guns – to make it.

Space Rock Breaker is a new incremental mining game available now on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for £4.99, offering a simple but potentially addictive loop of blasting rocks, collecting resources and investing in bigger and better equipment.

Published by Games Harbor and developed by WAKA WAKA, this is a bite-sized space adventure built around turning chunks of floating rock into a rather healthy pile of credits.

Break Rocks, Build Your Fortune

The premise is straightforward: find asteroids, point your guns and start mining. As you work through the space rocks, you’ll unlock new materials and gather ore that can be processed by dropping it into a Plinko machine – a rather unusual addition to the usual mining operation.

Your earnings can then be funnelled back into a sizeable skill tree, unlocking upgrades to help make future mining runs more productive. It’s that familiar incremental cycle of earning, upgrading and earning even more, only this time your workplace happens to be floating somewhere in the cosmos.

Fancy A Spot Of Asteroid Mining?

At £4.99 from the Xbox Store, Space Rock Breaker keeps things simple, focusing on short sessions and the satisfaction of watching a small operation grow.

If the idea of blasting asteroids, feeding ore through a Plinko machine and gradually building a more powerful mining setup sounds appealing, there could be a little space-time distraction waiting here.
