Relax Gaming takes Dream Drop jackpot into Denmark via FDJ United

FDJ United’s Unibet and Maria Casino become the first Danish operators to carry the must-drop jackpot network, with further operator deals said to be in the pipeline.

Regulated jackpot networks are increasingly central to operator content strategies in Northern Europe, where jackpot frequency, not just jackpot size, has become a competitive differentiator. Relax Gaming confirmed on 22 September 2026 that its Dream Drop jackpot product has gone live in Denmark through FDJ United, distributed via the group’s Unibet and Maria Casino brands.

FDJ United is the first operator to carry Dream Drop in Denmark, distributing the product across two of its locally licensed brands, Unibet and Maria Casino, both of which operate under a Spillemyndigheden licence. Relax Gaming says further Danish operator deals are planned, though no names or timelines have been confirmed.

Relax Gaming describes Dream Drop as a must-drop jackpot network built around six progressive jackpot tiers. The product’s MEGA Jackpot, the highest tier, carries a must-drop threshold, meaning it is guaranteed to pay out before reaching a set ceiling.

The supplier states the network has now recorded 32 MEGA Jackpot winners since launch in May 2022.

Product mechanics and operator proposition

Dream Drop operates across a portfolio of more than 50 titles produced by six studios, combining themed slot gameplay with the shared progressive jackpot network.

The must-drop mechanic is designed to deliver jackpot payouts at higher frequency than a standard progressive, which Relax Gaming positions as a lower-exposure option for operators who want jackpot functionality without the liability risk of uncapped networks.

Regulated market expansion

Denmark is one of several regulated markets where Relax Gaming supplies content through locally licensed operators rather than holding a direct in-country licence. The supplier holds licences with regulators including the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, and the Swedish Gambling Authority, and lists Denmark among the markets it actively supports.

The Danish launch follows a pattern of recent Relax Gaming regulated-market entries, including Switzerland in September 2024, structured through individual operator partnerships rather than direct regulatory applications.
